Description
PalaXtreme High Impact Powder Resin for Prosthetics in different shades
PalaXtreme is a universal, powder-based, self-curing acrylic, suitable for the production of customised dental prostheses using the injection or pouring technique, ideal for all types of applications, cadmium-free and peroxide-free. Due to its minimal residual monomer content, this material is highly biocomponent.
The resin hashigh fracture resistance thanks to the Core Shell technology (polymer beads with flexible core). It prevents the occurrence of allergies and is extremely safe thanks to very low levels of residual monomer, (even below the threshold of heat-curing resins).
Features of the PalaXtreme Powder Resin:
- Self-curing and universal for all types of applications.
- Very good mucosal tolerability.
- Best tolerance from an allergy point of view for the patient.
- Colour match with full and partial dentures and repairs.
- Creates full lower and upper jaw prostheses by the injection method.
- Recreates skeletal prostheses, relines, augmentations, as well as repairs by the traditional casting method.
- Components: Methyl methacrylate copolymer.
- Available in different shades.
- Content: 100 gr of powder resin.

Recommendations for the use of PalaXtreme Powder Resin:
The high hardness of PalaXtreme means that the polymerised resin powder generated when finishing the prosthesis contains sharp-edged particles that can be abrasive, affecting only the laboratory personnel finishing the polymerised product. It does not affect any patient.
Occasionally, when finishing the acrylic base without proper protective measures, the particles can cause skin lesions and micro lesions, which occur if the workstation is not cleaned regularly and proper protection is not used to cover them.
What measures should the recipient take when using PalaXtreme?
- Wear a dust mask and suitable protective gloves.
- Wear protective goggles and long-sleeved protective clothing.
- Use an extraction system and protective screen.
- It is recommended to work with a rework box.
- After regrinding, particles can have sharp edges and be abrasive.
- Regularly remove particles from the workplace and from your body.
- Finishing tools: cross-cutting burs are recommended, e.g. FSQ burs or diamond burs, which generate shorter, finer-grained and less sharp particles, therefore with a less abrasive effect on the skin.
- In case of persistent skin irritations or rashes, check for MMA allergy with the medical specialist; strictly avoid skin contact, especially with the liquid.
