Profluorid Varnish is a fluoride (5% NaF) desensitising dental varnish from VOCO. This varnish is designed for the treatment of hypersensitive teeth, sealing of dentinal tubules, (after cavity preparations or in sensitive tooth necks), treatment of cervical areas after professional cleaning and removal of calculus.

Profluorid Varnish is available in different flavours: mint, cherry, caramel and melon to make it more palatable to patients. The dentist can adapt to the needs of the individual patient, as this dental varnish is available in 10 ml tubes or in convenient single-dose formats.

Profluorid Varnish usage considerations:

• 1 ml of this varnish contains 50 mg of sodium fluoride, which is equivalent to 22.6 mg of fluoride.
• Contains artificial flavouring and rosin. Refrain from use in allergic patients.
• Do not apply to patients with gingivitis or ulcerative stomatitis.
• Not designed for systemic treatment.
