Opalescence PF 10% Home Whitening Kit for Aligners

The Opalescence™ PF whitening system is a dentist-controlled and supervised at-home whitening system, dispensed in syringes. They are clear, highly viscous, sticky gels containing carbamide peroxide together with potassium nitrate and sodium fluoride. The gel is a 10 % carbamide peroxide concentration (equivalent to 3.6 % hydrogen peroxide)

The Opalescence™ PF packaging has been specifically designed to be easily transported so that patients can whiten their teeth wherever they want. There is no need to create customised splints, patients place the whitening gel in their orthodontic aligners.

Instructions for use of Opalescence PF 10% Home Bleach:

• Apply a continuous line of gel along the lower half of the cheek side of each aligner tray. Use 1 to 4 to 1/3 syringe per arc.
• Lightly touch the tray to adapt the sides to the teeth. Use Opalescence 10% gel for 8-10 hours or overnight.
• Remove excess gel with a soft toothbrush. Do not swallow rinsed gel.
• Clean the tray with a soft brush and water.
