PTFE Sterile Membrane
PTFE Membrane Characteristics:
- Provides adequate space for the formation of a natural fibre structure.
- Material used in periodontics, implantology and any surgical procedure requiring a mechanical barrier.
- The sterile barrier membrane can be removed from the inner tray for use during the surgical procedure.
- It can be further stabilised with sutures, surgical tacks and screws.
- It can be removed simply by taking the forceps.
- Sterilised with ethylene oxide gas.
- Intended for single use only, and discarded if the package is opened or damaged.
- Non-absorbable.
- Composed of polytetrafluoroethylene and reinforced with titanium.
- Pyrogen-free.
- Suitable for preventing migration of epithelial and connective tissue cells.
- Manufactured according to European Pharmacopoeiarequirements.
