LM Mini Gracey Curettes

Mini Gracey Curettes are designed for the removal of deep subgingival calculus in specific areas, depending on the shape of the instrument, and for the finishing of subgingival root surfaces. The mini models feature a shorter lower shank and a smaller working portion than the standard model, making them ideal for working in narrow and deep pockets. The Sharp Diamond coating ensures the curettes stay sharp at all times, eliminating the need for manual sharpening. Instrumentation with Gracey Curettes: To use Gracey curettes, place the tip against the tooth surface specified for the indicated shape, one-third or one-half of the cutting edge. The cutting edge is always the longest outer curved part. Make sure the lower cane is parallel to the root surface. Apply moderate pressure to remove calculus and light lateral pressure to perform root planing, activating the curette with vertical, diagonal, or horizontal movements.
