Description:
The composite Solitaire is a new condensable material for posterior restorations that will greatly facilitate the work in dental clinic. The great condensation of Solitaire allows the dentist to easily reconstruct the points of interproximal contacts, providing maximum protection of the interdental papillae and an excellent adaptation to the dentinal margins.
The composite Solitaire 2 allows the use of conventional instruments: amalgamator, masonry holder, wooden wedges, dies, etc ... It is a material that does not adhere to the working instruments which facilitates the handling and modeling of the piece .
Characteristics:
- In Solitaire we find a new type of filler and a new matrix technology. .
- Solitaire contains a Microglass fill with fluoride release.
- The particles of the filling are formed by a series of cavities similar to those that can be found in a bath sponge and its external structure is irregular. .
- All this means that Solitaire is a highly condensable material because when we apply a pressure the matrix will flow through these cavities producing condensation.
- The matrix of Solitaire makes this product have one of the lowest abrasions that we can find today in the market and is a biocompatible material. .
- Solitaire's work methodology is very simple, similar to that of amalgam, in horizontal layers.
- In reconstructions smaller than 4 mm we can apply a single layer, in reconstructions of more than 4 mm. It is recommended to apply at least 2 horizontal layers.
- With Solitaire the technique used is conservative, where a maximum preservation of the natural piece or a minimal dentin invasion is sought.
- Add a high aesthetic as Solitaire comes in vita colors: A10, A20, A30, I, B20, B30.
- It is used as a pretreatment of the enamel, as for the technique of acid etching and enamel conditioning.
