COMPOSITE EVERX POSTERIOR INTRO KIT BY GC

GC everX Posterior is a fibre-reinforced composite designed for use as a replacement for dentin, along with other conventional composites, such as G-ænial Posterior, used to replace enamel. The GC everX posterior’s short fibres make it a perfect substructure to reinforce any composite restoration in large sized cavities. The fibres also prevent and stop the spread of cracks in the filling, the main cause of failures in composites. Thanks to its unique properties, GC everX posterior offers new possibilities for the direct restoration of large cavities in the clinic and is the answer to the growing demand for an economical alternative for the restoration of large sized cavities.

Features

• The short fibres prevent and stop the advance of fracture in the restoration.
• A resistance to fractures equivalent to that of dentin and two times greater than any composite provides incomparable resistance in restoration.
• Minimum horizontal contraction, since the fibres contribute to reducing shrinkage in the direction they face.
• Increases from 4 to 5 mm can be polymerised in block.
• Safe adhesion to the coating composite and tooth substance.

Uses
Reinforcing material for direct composite restorations, especially in large sized posterior cavities, such as:

• Cavities with 3 or more surfaces for restoration.
• Cavities where the cusps are missing.
• Deep cavities (including class I, II and teeth with endodontic treatment).
• Cavities after amalgam substitution (since amalgam placement usually start the cracks and fractures of cusps).
• Cavities where it would also be suitable to use inlays & onlays.
