FitStrip Interproximal Contouring and Finishing System

The FitStrip system features an adjustable wheel to lock the desired curvatures in place for maximum precision, maximum patient safety and minimum dentist fatigue. It is indicated for composite restorations (contouring / finishing of all interproximal surfaces), orthodontics (IPR / tooth thinning) and crowns and bridges (cement removal and cleaning).

Garrison's FitStrip system simplifies and speeds up interproximal reduction thanks to it’s patented removable handle design. The interchangeable handle easily attaches to any of the FitStrip components. The dentist's hand remains outside the patient's mouth, offering clear visibility and simplified handling.

• If the adjustment wheel is tightened, the strip will be less flexible for the contact areas of the tooth.

• Very durable.
• Suitable for ultrasonic baths, if suitable clamping tools are used.
• They can be autoclaved with steam at a temperature of 134 °C (273 °F) for 5 minutes.

Indications for FitStrip Diamond Strips:

Single-sided FitStrip™ system

• Our versatile single-sided FitStrip™ is perfect for contouring and finishing composite restorations and for single tooth styling.

Double-sided FitStrip™ System

• FitStrips™ excel in interproximal reductions and in contouring and finishing composite restorations. For stripping and quick adjustments, it is recommended to tighten the strip and use it with or without a handle. For contouring, loosen the strip.

Serrated FitStrip™ System

• Garrison's serrated strip is ideal for separating fused composite and cementitious contacts. "It is easier to reach the narrow rear areas if the handle is attached".

Contact setting

• The single-sided superfine strip is specially designed to fit narrow contact areas in crown and bridge restorations. By loosening the strap and creating a curve, the strap allows you to adjust the crown to the perfect contact.
