Gutta-percha is a rubber similar to latex-based rubber that is used in the seals and fillings of the root canal in endodontic treatments
The gutta-percha sticks are used for temporary cavity restorations. As a diagnostic tool, heat the gutta-percha sticks and use them like a toothpick to help you locate the thermal sensitivity. Used as an element for bite registration, helps to identify fractures and pain when biting.
