Features of Cavitron Jet-Fresh:

• They allow cleaning with a 15-minute ultrasonic water bath .
• Sterilisable in steam autoclave.
• Do not use in restorative procedures where amalgam condensation is present.

Cavitron Ultrasonic Inserts Operating Instructions:

1. Selection of the appropriate insert for the tooth or root to be treated.
2. If possible, use the lowest power setting.
3. Adjust the water so that it flows with a quick drip or some spray .
4. Apply gentle pressure with an instrument.
5. Use alight and stable intraoral or extraoralsupport point.
6. Use the insert without the tip pointing towards the implant surface.
7. Make light and gentle contact.
8. Maintain constant movement of the tip of the insert in a brushstroke-like manner with repetitive horizontal, vertical and oblique movements.
9. To scan or evaluate the tooth surface, use the inactive insert.
