Dental Irrigation Syringes

Irrigation Needles are a special kind of needles for endodontics . Its main characteristic is that they have the blunt tip so as not to damage the apex of the tooth and the outlet of the liquid is produced by a lateral as can be seen in the image.
 

Endodontic irrigation needles sometimes have a type of connection to the syringe called Luer Lock. This consists of grooves that fit between the needle and the syringe that prevent the needle from being released by the liquid pressure. When buying needles, it is necessary to take into account that needle and syringe have the same connection system. There are irrigation needles from brands such as Coltene, Miraject, Monoject, etc.
