Clinical Case: Class I
Indications for Venus ONE Shade Composite
This new colour is integrated into the rest of the range of Venus Pearl and Venus Diamond composites and is ideal for:
- Basic restorations (for example, in later ones)
- Classes I
- Classes II
- V-classes
- Composite buttons (as discreet as Invisalign aligners)
- Small and large basic posterior restorations that do not extend buccally (1 unit only) on the occlusal surfaces.
- Restorations that extend buccally (several units) but not located in the esthetic zone.
- Large posterior occlusal restorations.
- Small previous restorations.
- Cervical restorations.
It is available in two consistencies: Firm (Diamond) and Creamy (Pearl).
What is the difference between the two consistencies?
It is important to keep in mind that creamy is not the same as fluid, a synonym for creamy would be smooth and firm would be hard, both consistencies come in paste, with the same indications and are excellent for modeling and polishing. It all depends on your preference. 85% of dentists use the creamy consistency.
Kulzer Venus Bulk Flow ONE: the first single-shade flowable bulk fill composite
It is innovative because it is the first single-colour bulk fill type fluid composite, in which you do not need to put an additional final layer. You can use it in your day-to-day cases thanks to its monochrome tone and it is ideal for restorations in the posterior region.
The chances of making a mistake in the colour are reduced to zero and also, because it is a bulk fill, it has minimal polymerization shrinkage and high resistance, both to bending and wear.
You can apply it in increments of up to 4 mm and it will adapt easily, as we said, to any shade from A1 to D4.

- Efficient and aesthetic results in less treatment time. You no longer have to select the shade and thanks to the bulk fill technique, chair time is reduced, making it perfect for primary tooth restorations as well.
- It is a radiopaque composite so you can easily recognize restorations with Venus Bulk Flow ONE on X-rays, favoring a reliable diagnosis. Its radiopacity with approx. 300%Al is very high compared to the radiopacity of dentin (100Al%) and enamel (200Al%).
It combines the self-leveling effect of flowable materials, its high curing depth and optimum stability after application. Thanks to this you can make increments of up to 4 mm in the cavity. With Venus Bulk Flow ONE, you will be able to reduce the treatment time, because you do not have to choose the color or apply a universal composite as an additional final layer. In addition, you can use this composite in multiple indications: from bulk filling, cavity lining or fixation of primary teeth.
How is the usage different between Venus Bulk Flow ONE and Venus Pearl / Diamond ONE?
Venus Bulk Flow ONE is a flowable bulk fill composite with a curing depth of up to 4 mm. Venus Pearl / Diamond ONE Shade are high viscosity composites and are applied in 2mm incremental layering techniques. You can use both viscosities and techniques to great benefits as they complement each other to make your posterior restorations highly esthetic and strong.
