CEMENT REPAIR MTA GRAY DE ANGELUS

Indications

• Treatment of perforations of the root canal or furca.
• Sealing internal and internal resorptive resorptions.
• Retro-obturation in parendodontic surgeries.
• Pulp coating in conservative treatments (direct pulp protection and pulpotomy in permanent and deciduous teeth).
• Apexification and apexogenesis.
• Intra-coronary sealing prior to internal dental banding of pulped teeth.
• Apical sealing (plug) for root obturation in canals with wide apical opening.

Characteristics:

• Calcium ion release: Induces bone remineralization.
• Provides biological sealing of perforations and total repair of injured peri-radicular tissues.
• Biological action: Dental material inducing neoformation of peri-radicular cement.
• Hydrophilic: Allows use in a humid environment without loss of properties.
• High alkalinity: Antibacterial action.
• Low solubility: Does not allow marginal infiltration.
• Calcium Oxide: Promotes tissue biocompatibility.
• Oxides added: Good resistance to compression.
• High radiopacity: Superior to the dentine, allowing an excellent radiographic visualization.
• Setting time of 15 minutes: Final set time reduced if compared to similar.
