Mosaic Starter Kit in Syringe

Mosaic is a light-curing, Bis-GMA based, universal restorative composite resin. It is radiopaque and available in multiple shades. The filler loading is 68% by volume for dentine shades and 56% for enamel shades. Mosaic was designed with a balance of fillers and resins to create optimised strength, flexibility and toughness for anterior and posterior restorations.

The syringe features a unique and innovative design with a smooth contoured handle and cylinder that allows for easy cleaning while being easy to grip and identify. The slightly translucent dentine shades provide a chameleon effect that allows a single shade to be used in smaller restorations. The enamel shades give a variable opacity to allow the use of a single enamel shade for use on small chips or defects of anterior teeth.

Characteristics of Universal Mosaic Composite:

• Radiopacity: equivalent to or greater than 2 mm of aluminium.
• Soft and flexible consistency.
• Ample working time under ambient light.
• The working time is from 3:30 to 7:30 depending on the power of the light.
• High brightness and long term brightness retention.
• No adhesion to the instrument, easy handling,long working time under ambient light and excellent aesthetic results
• Easy to use and useful for any type of restoration.
• Once the anatomy of the tooth is formed, the material retains its shape and does not collapse.
• Wear resistance on a par with natural enamel wear.
• Indications: Used for direct and indirect restorations (inlays, onlays and veneers) in both anterior and posterior regions.
• Various shades available.
• Content: 5 x 4 g syringes with shades A1, A2, A3, EN and ET.
• Includes a Mosaic collimator.
