Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) | Page 4
Personal protective equipment (PPE) refers to items worn or held by a person for the purpose of protecting them against risks to their safety or health. As such, PPE is an essential element of any risk control strategy.
The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) should be supported by a personal protection programme that ensures the equipment functions correctly under the intended conditions of use.
