Cytoplast PTFE Non-Abdorbable Suture

Cytoplast is a soft PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) monofilament suture, gentle and comfortable for patients.

In the case of PTFE, it should be noted that the declared suture size is always one digit lower than the suture size perceived by the surgeon during use. For example CS0618RC Cytoplast 4-0 suture, equivalent to a 5-0 suture.

Characteristics of the Suture:

• Suitable for dental implants and bone grafting cases.
• Prevents the absorption of bacteria at surgical sites.
• Biologically inert PTFE is not cytotoxic.
• With excellent knot handling and knot security.
• Little or no packet memory.
• Stainless steel needles 300 series.
