Bioceramic sealing cement:

  • Its pre-mixed, ready-to-inject presentation allows it to be applied directly into the root canal without manual mixing.
  • Its optimal fluidity and reduced film thickness promote adaptation to the dentinal walls, accessory canals and apical deltas.
  • Provides a stable, hermetic three-dimensional seal thanks to its low solubility and resistance to washout.
  • Its biocompatibility and bioactivity stimulate the release of calcium ions, the formation of hydroxyapatite and periapical healing.
  • The alkaline pH provides a powerful antibacterial effect against residual micro-organisms such as Enterococcus faecalis.
  • Offers high radiopacity and the possibility of retreatment, facilitating radiographic monitoring and its removal using conventional files when necessary.

Description

Endoseal MTA Sealer Cement

Endoseal MTA is a bioceramic sealer cement formulated with high-purity calcium silicate pozzolan, designed for the definitive three-dimensional obturation of the root canal system in combination with gutta-percha cones.

It was one of the first bioceramic cements to be presented in a pre-mixed, ready-to-inject format. Its pasty, fluid consistency allows it to be introduced directly into the canal using fine tips, simplifying the procedure and avoiding the dosing errors associated with mixing powder and liquid.

Features of Endoseal MTA

  • Supplied pre-mixed and ready to use, reducing clinical preparation time.
  • Its direct application via syringe and fine tips allows precise dosing within the root canal.
  • Avoids errors in the powder-to-liquid ratio and helps to reduce material wastage.
  • Its pasty yet fluid consistency facilitates adaptation to the microirregularities of the root dentine.
  • Has a reduced film thickness that promotes a continuous seal with no voids.
  • Its fluidity allows penetration into lateral and accessory canals, apical deltas and anatomical areas that are difficult to access.
  • Offers excellent dimensional stability, maintaining the integrity of the seal over time.
  • Its low solubility provides high resistance to washout by tissue fluids.
  • Helps maintain a hermetic apical seal that is impermeable to bacterial penetration.
  • On contact with the tissues, it promotes the release of calcium ions and the formation of hydroxyapatite.
  • Its bioceramic activity contributes to the repair and healing of periapical tissues.
  • Its high biocompatibility helps to reduce post-operative irritation and discomfort.
  • Has an alkaline pH during application and setting, creating an unfavourable environment for residual bacteria.
  • Offers antibacterial activity against resistant micro-organisms associated with endodontic failure, such as Enterococcus faecalis.
  • Its high radiopacity provides clear contrast on control radiographs.
  • Allows visual confirmation of the homogeneity of the obturation and its extension to the working length.
  • The material sets by making use of the natural moisture present in the dentinal tubules, without requiring extreme drying of the canal.
  • In the event of retreatment, it can be removed using conventional hand files or NiTi rotary instruments.
  • Contents: 1 x 2 gram syringe + 20 tips + 5 caps.

Indications for Endoseal MTA

  • Permanent obturation of root canals in combination with gutta-percha cones.
  • Particularly indicated for the single-cone technique, filling the space between the cone and the canal walls.
  • Sealing of accessory and lateral canals, apical deltas and anatomical irregularities.
  • Obturation of complex root canal systems and hard-to-access areas using conventional techniques.
  • Treatment of teeth with root resorption, promoting repair thanks to its bioactive nature.
