Each instrument has a specific function:

• PROPORTION GAUGE or Dental Dimension and Surface Gauge
  
  • With colour-coded measurements that have a predetermined ratio of approximately 78%, Chu's proportion indicator is the easiest, fastest and most accurate tool for diagnosing crown size and its discrepancies with proportions for a more unified and balanced final result with the rest of the facial aesthetics.

• CROWN LENGTHENING GAUGE or Coronal Ratio
  
  • With the help of the predetermined colour-coded measurement, the Chu Coronary LengtheningGauge achieves the measurement of the clinical crown with the appropriate facial mean and biological crown length during the lengthening procedure. It also helps to establish the correct aesthetic position of the interdental papilla from the incisal edge before closing and suturing the flap.

 

• SOUNDING GAUGE or Bone and Alveolar Ridge Gauge
  
  • Chu's Sounding Gauge helps to provide a quick and simple analysis of the location of the bony ridge at both mid-facial and interdental levels. Ideal for aesthetic and surgical crown lengthening procedure to determine the bone level before reflecting the flap. The curvature of the tip makes it easier, faster and more predictable.
