Cold disinfectant for dental instruments: Dentasep Ultra by Anios

Ready-to-use disinfectant for dental instruments by simple immersion, previously cleaned.

Features of Dentasep Ultra:

• It is composed of glutaraldehyde solution (2%) buffered to pH 6, in the presence of a surface-active catalyst, dye and excipients.
• Ph neutral (6) compatible with all instruments.
• You don't need to dilute it, it comes ready to use.
• It is possible to preserve them in the immersion bath: 30 days.
• We recommend using on instruments that have been previously cleaned and rinsed.
• Contents: 5 litre carafe.

Microbiological properties of Dentasep Ultra

Dentasep Ultra has action:

• Bactericide: EN 1040, EN 13727, EN 14561 in 5 minutes. MRSA in 5 minutes.
• Mycobactericidal: EN 14348, EN 14563 in 10 minutes.
• Fungicide: EN 1275, EN 13624, EN 14562 in 10 minutes.
• Virucidal: EN 14476 (10 min). Acts against HIV-1, HBV, BVDV (HCV model virus) and Herpesvirus in just 5 minutes.
• Sporicidal: NF T 72-231, (C. Sporogenes), T 72-301 (C. difícil) in 60 minutes.

Additional considerations for the use of Dentasep Ultra:

• Make sure that the instruments are thoroughly clean and have been rinsed with plenty of water before using Dentasep Ultra.
• Do not mix with other detergents or chemicals.
• Store between +5°C and +35°
• Renew the solution at least every 30 days.
• To use it, you should wear gloves, goggles and a protective mask to avoid skin irritation or allergies.
• *Do not use with plastic instruments, as they may take on a yellowish colour.

How to use Dentasep Ultra?

• Step 1: Place a quantity of Dentasep Ultra in a disinfection bucket (undiluted)
• Step 2: Immerse your instruments completely in the solution.
• Step 3: Cover them and leave the disinfectant on for at least 10 minutes. If sporicidal activity is desired, at least 1 hour.
• Step 4: Remove the basket from the disinfection tray and rinse the instruments with sterile or 0.2 μm filtered water
• Step 5: Dry all instruments with a dry cloth.
